Monte Leone is reachable from Varzo, coming up to Alpe Veglia until D’Avino Lake, along the north-east wall of the mountain. From the lake, you climb to Passo Fné to reach the Alpjegletscher glacier. Moving up a stretch of the glacier, you take the southern or the western ridge and you reach the summit.
